Why Audiences Love Trailers

According to "The Hollywood Reporter," the National Association of Theater Owners is taking strides toward a new marketing rule. It would shorten the trailers shown before movies to two minutes each instead of the current standard of two minutes and thirty seconds. Theater owners feel, based on feedback from their patrons, that trailers are overly long and often spoil the plots or best scenes from a film... ..
